F8 | Identity & Experiencial
F8 began as an 8-hour developer Hackathon in 2007 (the ‘8’ came from our traditional eight-hour hackathons). Over the years, we added new industry tracks and introduced iconic Facebook consumer products. This year we brought F8 back to its roots as a true developer conference. Concept
The visual ‘particle’ identity came to life across the event in both animated films and brand video, complementing the experiential design of the festival. We also created two brand films titled ‘Better Future’ that were designed to energize the f8 attendees with a future-looking brand message.
